Well, bad news... we didn't get it all finished today. My Rafael access was more limited than we had hoped.

Good news is, I have been modding the new install all day and I am pretty confident you guys are gonna like some of the new toys.

Rafael's 'interpretation' of the default skin (from what few peeks I snuck today) is looking pretty sweet.

I have finished making modifications and at this point it's all on Rafael to get his design work finished.

registrations are fixed yeah... i'm still waiting on rafael for the big switchover.

Rafael has promised me the long awaited skin today... so we should be moving to our new house this afternoon at some point.

It's done. Working on the import this afternoon. And Yes Image hosting should be fixed as well.

importing had some issues and I don't see them being resolved without a few minutes downtime. Dave will get our issues fixed and barring any other unforeseen circumstances we should be live in the morning.

If we're going to have the board offline for a few minutes, I'd rather do it at the start of the day as opposed to the end of the day. if things went bad, I'd have to stay here until it was fixed and I'd rather go home and try Halo 3 a little bit myself.


Update again:

Not going to be finished again today. There is an issue with preserving UserIds and we can't have that so a script is going to have to be written to map old to new... so maybe tomorrow....

ahh so this is why i cant find post count... btw... 9 mems and 227 guests.... dunno if thats good or bad at this stage. i do like the 65 new mems in 24 hours tho

We're getting a good number of new people in.

Halo 3 release did a bunch for our traffic too, so yeah a lot of visitors is a good thing.

Postcount and everything is all still 'there' just not showing up in postbits (your name by the posts).


Soon as we get moved it'll be back.

Well, the long awaited update is finally being implemented this afternoon. at approximately 1:30 eastern standard time, the forum will be offline while we make the move. The process will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
