In the course of trying to figure out the bug with Jake's vbBux points problem, I have discovered some significant and unresolvable problems with vbBux.
Bottom line: vbBux is going bye bye.
I know some of you like the system and aren't going to like losing your points, but it has to go. There is a security risk associated with the mod.
We are going to try to convert to another credit system and make an effort to preserve as much as we can. In other words, I'm going to try to keep all your points and import them... but I'm not too optimistic.
Worst case scenaorio is that everybody is back to square one with the points. I'll start everybody off with a couple thousand points or something just to get us going again if that happens.
If we're going to start again, dont you think a few thousand is too many points to start off with? I mean... you could buy everything in the shop with all those points.

Then change the shop prices
EDIT: and actually it's fun because the stock market on those sites make it a risk-reward situation
The board is gonna be dead for a few minutes (hopefully).
See you guys on the other side...
OK so that took a bit longer than I'd hoped. The board was horribly out of version so we went ahead and upgraded.
We needed to upgrade before we implemented a new credit system anyway.
So here's the status:
-vBux/vPLaza are gone. Replacement system is being looked at and should be in today.
-Templates/skins are all offline except for the default (predator). Otherwise I'd have to do everything like 5 times - once for each skin... not gonna happen. We'll try to get some alternate skin options online in the short term, but that probably won't be today.
-Old points are gone. Sorry, did everything we could to avoid it, but the fact that we were so out of version made preserving existing points thru migration to a new credit system unfeasible. We were offline too long as it was.
The good news is, now that we are completely current and i only have to sweat one template set for the time being, I should be able to get a lot of things done this afternoon. HalOmega will have my undivided attention for the rest of the day. I'll be shopping around for cool new mods and looking to replace things we dumped.
If there's anything in terms of features/mods you guys would like to see implemented... now's the time.

They did test the maps. They are good. Learn to deal with the fact that your opinion doesn't dictate the policy of a multi-million dollar company.
I don't remember the name but the background was all white and it would show your subscription if you clicked on the thingy
