Because how many members know the news or updates before they are posted?
In the old section every thread by a member was a suggestion. This way you can easily see the updates and news without seeing hundereds of suggestions.

i really see a limited number of "crap" threads in here. Sure there are some immature kids that post a stupid thread in here but for the most part it is all legit questions and suggestions and news from members that are posted in here

All site questions, concerns, and complaints go under section called,
Comments, Questions, and Suggestions.
This section is for us to post the actual site updates, not site questions.
Threads like Vorlx and Syko leaving, as well as Kossick getting Mod would go here.
