Army of the Republic: Now Recruiting!

[AoR Final]

Hello, my name is AoR Final, and I'm here on behalf of the clan Army of the Republic, specifically our BTB wing, AoR Veracity.

Over the past 5 years, Army of the Republic (or known colloquially as AoR) has been striving for excellence through our endeavors in gaming. Created by AoR Rustifer during the days of Halo 2, AoR has been consistently lauded by other clans for our maturity, our high level of skill, and our good humor. Our road has run past (and in many cases through) some of the greatest names in the Halo world.

AoR Veracity is one of the younger divisions within AoR. Originally its own individual clan, the leadership at AoR saw the potential of this young clan, and brought it in under its banner. Since then, we Veracitarians, under the watchful eye of our squad leader, AoR Kass, have sought to redefine the term "skill" in BTB. Consistently defeating other clans, and ravaging Matchmaking, Veracity's past exploits are only outshone by its bright future. A future that we'd like you to be a part of.

If you're afraid that you'll simply rest on your laurels if you decide to join our ranks, have no fear. With Halo 3 past its second birthday, and Reach set to fall next year, our Godfather, AoR Kid Tiger, has decided it's time to rev up our Halo wing again; the coming months promise plenty of hot clan-on-clan action, and Veracity plans to be at the front of the charge, and continue to spread the name of AoR throughout the gaming world. And we'd like you to be in our camp.

If you're interested in joining us, here are our membership requirements...

1) All gamers trying out for AoR must be 17 or older. This is to ensure the greatest degree of respect and maturity possible.

2) All gamers trying out for AoR must show a degree of skill working in a SUPPORTIVE team-based atmosphere. No man is an island in AoR.

3) No cheating-boosting, hacking, or any sort of illegal operations are not welcome in AoR, and such displays will earn you a boot out the door.

4) A good sense of humor, along with a disposition to learn and have fun. Obviously.

If you do not meet these requirements, we still invite you to check out our forums at our website (link is in my sig). There you can be an active member of our community, and even take part in our social gaming groups until you are eligible for membership.

If you're interested in trying out for Veracity, please complete the following steps...

1) Register at the AoR website (link within my sig).

2) Go into the Recruits subforum, and post your application in the AoR Veracity thread.

3) Send a Friend Request to AoR Kass.

Once your application has been processed, here's what to expect...

1) A two week trial. This just gives us a chance to know you better, and to show you how things work in Veracity.

2) Great community experience. As stated above, we have been around for 5 years as a great online family.

3) Learn from upper level AoR members. If you need help with getting better or anything of the sort AoR is here to help.

4) 2 clan practice nights a week, Sunday and Wednesday from 8:00 PM EST-9:30 PM EST.

5) Participate in clan scrims.

6) Working on set ups, teamwork, and communication.

7) Play with like minded gamers that treat people with equal respect.
