Halo 3 Cheats - Halo 3, Halo 2 and Halo Forum and Community

The game is still 2 weeks out but you know everybody will be looking for good Halo 3 cheats sites as soon as they get the box open.

As such, I figured I'd put together a short list of good looking sites that claim they will have Halo 3 cheats available. I'm not saying the sites listed are the best or worst in terms of the quantity or quality of their Halo 3 cheats - -that would be quite difficult in light of the fact that the game isn't released yet.

These are just the sites I found that look like they are well designed, developed and maintained and feel like they have some push behind them to actually deliver on their promises of Halo 3 cheats. Sites I list will also not be riddled with popups and plastered with crappy adsense/affiliate add all over them.

If you know of a site that is worthy of making the list, do feel free to post the url in this thread. I'll try to update this thread as more sites/information becomes available.

So without further adieu:

1. Official Halo 3 Cheats (.com) - They certainly have the domain for it. Other than that, they are actually paying people to provide cheats. A sure fire indicator to me that they will actually have some good stuff up relatively soon. It's also a good looking site - which doesn't hurt anything.

2. 1up (.com) Halo 3 Cheats Section - will probably have a good Halo 3 Cheat section. I 've linked to 1up plenty of times in the past. They're a good game info source all around.

3. My Cheats (.com) Halo 3 Cheats - I don't really have a whole lot of first hand experience with this site. However, they don't have tons of popups and they aren't wall to wall with junk ads, so they at least have that going for them. They also seem to have a decent Halo 3 cheats section already started from the Halo 3 Beta -- which is a good sign.

4. IGN To be honest, I've always thought IGN kinda sucked in terms of cheats and stuff like that. They are however a really good information resource. Plus, they do have user comments sections and forums that may actually give up a few tricks. I add them to the list for this reason and also for the fact that they are a trustworthy, safe spot for game info. You probably won't get 50 spyware popups from stopping by any of IGN's properties.

5. About (.com) You can find info on About.com about pretty much everything. They have a pretty good Halo 3 section going already outlining the achievements and some things like that. About is guilty of having a popup, but it get busted by Firefox by default and even if it doesn't it's pretty inocuous - just a plain old doublclcik type of ad.

6. Halo 3 Tracker (.com) This is a nice looking site that already has a good amount of information available about Halo 2 (for the PC mostly) and a some of the pre-release info for Halo 3. It's pretty easy to navigate and looks like it's pretty well developed and maintained. No nasty pop ups or pop unders and a well implemented adsense section make this one easy to use and look at. I don't yet know how they are going to do insofar as Halo 3 cheats go, but based on what I 've seen so far I don't think it'll hurt to check em out.

I hope they disable the achievements if you use cheats. In most games they do that. But in Need For Speed: Carbon, you still get the achievements if you enable cheats.

Well, I'm not endorsing cheating or anything, but I know people will be looking for halo cheats as soon as the game comes out so I figured I'd maybe save some people some time. If you just search for halo 3 cheats in a search engine you're going to end up on some really crappy - and sometimes dangerous - sites.

My brothers always pissed me off when they would use cheats.

I guess I can't say anything about glitches because I used to glitch when I did play Halo 2. I am waiting for Halo 3 :hippoasslol:Cant Wait!

What exactly is the difference between cheating and glitching? Cheats are put into the gam to be used, glitches are things that werent found while the testers are debugging, wouldnt glitches be worse thenn cheats? I mean if a person can crouch and put his back to a wall, and shoot you while your shooting him and it doesnt hurt you, wouldnt you hate that? In Saints Row the infinite grenades glitch got on my nerves.

Nobody says you HAVE to cheat and glitch and stuff, its just that finding those things can get you known. Especially for a game like this. I never understood what people's problem was with cheats. You have the choice not to use them. If you dont want to then good for you. ((Not talking to anyone in particular.))

It is very obvious who you are talking to which is me. I totally understand and never looked at it like that. And yes I do realize that they put cheats into the game. That is what makes me kinda tick. Almost like they are implying for you to use the cheats.

Glitches are fun depending on what end you are on. If you are on the recieving end of a glitch it isn't fun at all. But if you are dealing out the glitches then yes it is very fun.

No, he wasnt talking to you. Thats why he said "Im not talking about anyone in particular".

And i find glitches in games because its fun. I like doing some cool stuff like the flying sam fisher glitch (splinter cell) and the infinite gold glitch (blinx the timesweeper). If nobody bothered to find any glitches, the game developers wouldnt be able to fix the glitches. So im helping the game by finding glitches, so they can be fixed.

Save people some time huh? And you're "Not" endorsing the cheating? I think if people are going to go out of their way to cheat on anything, even a game, they deserve something "Crappy" and [hopefully] or dangerous for even thinking about it in the first place.

I have no toleration for cheaters so this discussion about it, and giving "Good" cheating sites, just pushes my buttons a little.

I was up all night playing Halo 3 last night and this moring, and already people were trying to stand-by.

Pretty frustrating to watch this stuff happening this early in its release.:suicide5ke:

Simmer down... using cheats codes/glitches/map reveals and walk through information is a matter of personal preference. If you don't like them or prefer not to use them -- great.. Don't use them. It's really as easy as that.

For my part, I've never been a big fan of that sort of thing, but to sit here and say that people who don't necessarily feel the same way should suffer some bad or even dangerous consequence is a taaaad over the top.
