Increase the number of regulars

I think it is time that HoC increase the amount of regulars. Some regulars are not active anymore, and there are a lot of active people who don't have a chance to become regulars.

As more members come to the site, there should be more regulars.

At least the top 100 posters should be regulars.

Being a regular should be a honor. There should be a limited amount of reg spots. Right now i believe we have TOO many. We need to remove some inactive ones, but still, i dont feel we should add many more soon. If you really want access to the reg/donator section, or those mods vs regs/donators, DONATE TO HOC! Halomega truly needs as much money as they can get their hands on.

I dunno, I feel like I only see about 50 different regulars on during the course of the week. Considering the number of members at this site that doesn't seem like enough.

I'm sorry but you will NEVER be a regular because all you do is flame and spam. Inspiron is quite active in the regular section so don't even try to run your mouth kid.

To Tedums: I do agree with your assumption, because there are only a number of regulars that come here regularly, and we could have more.

No, this had been debated in the regular section to many times.
We are actually cutting down on regs as of now.
There are way to many of them, a lot of them are active but post in the regulars section. Most of the one's that aren't active are former moderators who are now regs, but sparda merk and sylenzer post a lot.
There was really no need for this thread, although tedums would be a great canidate for next regular.

thats the dumbest shit i ever heard...if ppl qualify and meet regulations of being a reg then they should be one...ppl should be de regged for inactivity but regs arent like mods...we can have and many regs as we want

edit:: wtf why does everyone think to many regs is a big deal...if u have the right ammount of posts, active enough, and keep flaming to a minimum then why can u be a reg?? wat does it matter if theres to many regs?

To tell you the truth, I would leave HoC if you would get in the regs.
I don't really think you deserve to be in the regs, for the simple reason that even with your activity, you tend to spam and make pointless posts.

In responce to your edit, because then in a while everybody except for the just joined members are regs, I think that the regs is useless then.
Unless there is a place for only the elitist of the bunch that is like above the regulars.

You see where I'm going at? There will be to much regs and then there will be no use for the whole regs section anymore...

LOL. I believe that I am more qualified then you, just to state the truth.

Now, I also think that there are too many regulars. Just narrow them down and raise the post count for reg to 2,000 or 2,500.

Just look at H3F, they've raised it to 2,000. But I hax and I got in with 900 posts. But that section is not very active, but there's like 2,000 members that are a part of that regular section.

The thing about 50 regs on during a week is because there are about 50 regs!

The thing about the number of regulars in respect to the number of members on the site is simply down to the fact that a LOT of members only sign up to d/l montages and play on the arcade, which can be great for traffic, but hinders any progression in terms of numbers of people contributing. Only a few people are consistantly posting on the site, and the majority of these people are in fact regulars.

We do not need to boost the number, unless we do in fact find suitable candidates, in which case they are going to be voted in.
